At Brand Revive, we hate fine print & red tape as much as the next guy. We want to fully disclose our policies and terms as simply and plainly as possible, so there are no surprises. We love our customers and it’s because of them that we strive to offer the most affordable website solutions. We love what we do and our awesome customers are what make it all possible. But as much fun as we have building websites and supporting our clients, we realize we still have to have a few policies in place just so we’re all on the same page regarding the services we offer.
You own your domain name.
While we typically do register your domain for you or transfer your existing domain to us in order to offer you a simple, one-cost package — you own it and are free to take it with you if you ever decide to cancel your service.
You own your website, in its entirety.
Just like your domain name, you own your website and all of its content. If you ever decide to cancel your service, you are welcome to continue hosting through Brand Revive or we will work with you to transfer your site elsewhere. Hosting-only pricing is based on the selected plan you are on. Please contact us for more details.
Unless this is a previously agreed to a white-label project, we typically include a small link in the footer to indicate that your website was designed, built and/or maintained by Brand Revive. This is SOP and is integral to how we’ve built our business over the years. If you have more questions about this topic, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
We offer a special Lifetime Support package.
In a nutshell, this is a maintenance package that provides you with support for everything you need in a website plus direct access for technical support for an affordable monthly fee. We keep your website up to date with the latest WordPress releases & plugin updates. This also gives you up to 1 hour of technical support throughout any given month. Below is a list of what we do throughout the month:
If you need more than technical support throughout the month — to help with things like content additions or revisions, new functionality or graphic/web design — we are happy to help with anything you may need at our normal $100 hourly rate or provide you with a project quote.
Please note: Support hours do not roll over if unused at the end of your monthly billing cycle. Lifetime Support is not included with custom design unless purchased separately.
Although if you ask our current customers, most are pleasantly surprised by how quickly we respond. Support is what we do best! If you’re considering Brand Revive or are a new customer, just wait! You have to experience it for yourself to understand.
A 50% deposit is required upfront on all projects.
If you hire us for a custom website design project, we require 50% of the project cost upfront before any work begins. The remaining balance is due within the reasonable timeframe listed in the proposal or when the project is completed, whichever comes first. We will always aim to have your site completed within the reasonable timeframe listed in the proposal.
Custom design projects include up to 2 rounds of revisions per page mockup during the design phase. Once the final designs are approved, site development will begin and the approved design will be built per specifications. Additional design changes requested beyond this point will require an additional fee.
Once development is complete, 1 additional round of technical revisions is allowed to verify there are no bugs, that all links are pointing correctly and that the website was built as designed and functions as expected.
Monthly or yearly fees are automatic recurring payments.
If you are signing up for one of our website packages, our Lifetime Support plan or one of our stand-a-lone hosting plans, the monthly (or yearly) fee will be automatically debited from your account safely and securely through our Stripe.com merchant account. This saves us the hassle of having to play the role of bill collector, saving us time and resources and allowing us to continue offering affordable services and support to you.
We are always honest and straightforward about our prices. We occasionally have clients that have specific functionality requirements which entails additional costs and setup fees. If/when this is ever the case, we will outline everything for you in detail via a separate invoice.
Lifetime Support is billed monthly.
All website plans and Lifetime Support are billed on a monthly basis and may be canceled at any time with a 30-day written notice by either party. If you need assistance transferring your site to another provider, additional rates will apply and a specific quote will be provided at that time. Once your remaining balance has been processed and if applicable, once we’ve verified your new host has received all information, your account will be canceled with no further obligation.
Your monthly fees go towards paying your support costs each month. This is not just the support you ask for but our behind the scenes work as well. You’ll likely never notice, but throughout the month, we are constantly logging into your site to update your WordPress installation and plugins. Failing to do so could lead to all kinds of security loopholes that can wreak major havoc on your website. Your website files and database are also backed up daily and daily snapshots are stored, to ensure that in the event something happens, we can restore your website quickly and seamlessly.
Please note, we do not offer refunds or pro-rated refunds of any kind for hosting services.
